Did you know that adult Jelly Fish can magically turn themselves into kids? Ok, well, it’s not exactly magic. And it’s not exactly a jelly fish. Its a hydrozoan. They can go back and forth between being a polyp and a Jellyfish forever, earning them the title. The immortal jellyfish. Crazy!
This happens when the jelly fish feels stress, or is in danger and the process is called transdifferentiation. The Jelly Fish use enzymes to repair their DNA and the process happens really fast! Like overnight. Scientists are studying these creatures to help us understand diseases like Parkinson’s.
They can do this at any age! Like turning your grandpa into your kid brother just by teasing them! I don’t recommend you tell your mom and dad about this strategy…
