Did you know that Tardigrades live in every place on earth and are almost indestructible? Tardigrades have been found in the fossil record, preserved in amber since the cretaceous period. They are super hungry and some of them are known to eat parasites and nematodes.
They have eight legs and are the worlds smallest animals that have them. They don’t move fast, but they can walk on and through pretty much anything. Including water! Crazy. They have claws at the end of their legs and some of them even have double claws to help them hold on to materials as they move through water and other liquids. The ones that live in the ocean are super cool and some have crazy adaptations like balloons on their legs and tails that they can use to float around the marine environment.
